Cogniviso is committed to fair billing practices. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which you may request a refund for subscription payments. All billing is processed through Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record.
2. Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with your paid plan within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting our support team.
3. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. When you cancel:
- You will retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- No prorated refunds are issued for the remaining days in a billing period.
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.
- Your data (videos, analysis results) will be retained and accessible on the Free plan, subject to plan limits.
4. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be granted in the following cases:
- 14-day satisfaction guarantee: Full refund for first-time subscribers within 14 days.
- Service outage: If a significant service outage exceeds our SLA commitments, a prorated credit or refund may be issued.
- Billing errors: If you were incorrectly charged (e.g., duplicate charges, wrong amount), a full refund of the incorrect amount will be issued.
- Unauthorized charges: Report unauthorized charges immediately; we will investigate and issue refunds where appropriate.
5. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- AI tokens consumed during the billing period (these represent actual compute costs)
- Cancellations after the 14-day satisfaction guarantee period
- Account suspensions or terminations due to Terms of Service violations
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us using one of the following methods:

7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
8. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. No refunds are issued for the difference in plan cost during the current period.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
